Best choclolate Jul 25, 2007 I received these as a gift from a Belgian friend who said they are the best Belgian chocolate and I agree... These are the best chocolates I have ever tasted. I used to be a huge fan of Godiva until I tried these!

The Best Chocolate Ever May 20, 2007 My neighbor brought over a 1/2 lb assortment of Neuhaus chocolates when my ancient, beloved beagle of 15 years died. No one else was home, and I slowly ate the whole thing myself. Its what my beloved beagle would have done if someone gave her a box (She would probably have eaten the wrappers and box too.) This is the best chocolate I have ever tasted, bar none.

I've never tasted anything better Dec 05, 2006 I have to agree with S. Kistner. I'm a chocolate lover. My favorites include the best Swiss, German and Belgian darks and pralines. Godiva is good, too. But this is better than any of those. I was almost sorry to have ever tried them, since I couldn't find any way to buy more of them, until now!

Already shopping for more. Feb 13, 2006 I had a 3 hour layover in Paris, after 2 weeks in Italy (and way too much tiramisu, creme caramel, & other delicous items that just won't travel well, or you can't bring through customs)... I was returning home to my wife in time for Valentine's day, & I found a wine & chocolate shop off terminal 2C in Charles De Gaulle Airport. Their wonderful staff pointed me to Neuhaus after I provided a simple description of her tastes: She loves dark chocolate, coffee & hazelnuts, & I wanted to bring home something that could be enjoyed on it's own, or with a nice desert wine.
It's only been a few hours since I arrived home, & we knew we had to find a way to order these at home, as the box is more than half gone already. They are incredible, putting any other collection to shame. If you like dark chocolate, you will love these.
